Columbia Undergraduate Law Review Essay Contest (Deadline - 4/1/18)

Columbia Undergraduate Law Review Essay Contest: The Columbia Undergraduate Law Review is excited to announce the prompt for its first annual High School Essay Contest:

Pick a Supreme Court case that was decided since 2000 that touches on a legal issue about which you believe everyone should be more aware. Explain why you either agree or disagree with the Court's decision in this case and why its implications are so important. Utilize court precedents, opinions, and legal analysis in your argumentation.

We welcome submissions from all high school students interested in engaging with legal concepts and practicing their analytical writing. Submissions are due on 4/1/18 and must not exceed 1,000 words.

Please email your submission to culreboard@columbia.edu with subject “[Surname] - High School Essay Contest Submission.” The winner will have their work published on our website, www.culawreview.org.
