Short Fiction

Deadlines January 31, May 31, and September 30 (must be received by these dates). Thrice-yearly free neutral contest awards $100 and web publication for short fiction. The Jerry Jazz Musician reader has interests in music, social history, literature, politics, art, film, and theatre, particularly that of the counter-culture of mid-20th century America. Entries should appeal to a reader with these characteristics. Submit a story of up to 5,000 words (3,000 words is ideal) by email.
